Ode to Rain

I walk along in a world of my own,
Hearing the sound of the rain flow,
Tearing down, hitting the concrete,
Tapping against the shoes on my feet.

People complain about the rain that it's bad,
But haven't they forgotten that they should be glad?
Without it so much of the world will fade,
There'd be no green anymore I'm afraid.

What I'm trying to say in my own unique way,
That for every dark cloud there's a sunray,
Think about the things that you really hate,
There's always a positive somewhere tot locate.

So to use a cliche, turn the frown upside down,
When you feel down, turn it around,
And remember that as bad as you think it is,
There's always somebody worse off than this.
